Hello! Yep, slowly and in thin coats. It’ll dry quicker and more even if you don’t put too much on in one coat. Also do complete brush strokes (from base to tip) :)

Hello! Mine were like that too, which is why I finally got acrylics. Always have at least base coat on and file edges regularly to prevent chips and tares :)

Hello! Sounds fun! I’d go with tie dye. You can make it as simple or as complicated as you like based on pattern and how many colors you would like to include! :)
